Artwork Gallery and Café

28 Jul

The Artwork Gallery and Café is a place where people can meet new people, create, display and sell art – or just relax with a cup of coffee.

The Café was set up by community-interest company Future Health and Social Care Association following a £25,000 grant from the Working Neighbourhoods Fund (WNF). Due to the way the project is funded the service is free to anyone satisfying the following criteria:

  • Not currently in paid employment
  • In receipt of Working Age Client Group benefits ( Specifically JSA, Incapacity Benefit, Lone Parent Income Support and Employment Support Allowance) and have been claiming these for 3 months or more, as this programme is focusing on the long term unemployed/ worklessness
  • Resident in a super output area as stipulated by WNF.

Community Safety Theatre In Education Project

Community Vibe Presents “SAFE” Community Safety Theatre In Education Project

Feeling safe in our community is vital to enjoying a good quality of life. There are times however that we don’t feel safe. It may be on the street, when we are using buses or trains, when we are shopping or enjoying a night out. Many people share these concerns and for some this may discourage them from doing the things they want to do.
Would you like to get involved as a volunteer working on this project ? This will provide you with the opportunity to explore these issues with other service users using drama and performance in a safe and supportive environment.

Have YOUR say on what matters most to YOU about safety in YOUR community!

If you would like to benefit from this opportunity Please contact Rachel Green:  07772572060
